2. M.Ed. Degree Course (Two Semesters in one Academic Year) (Unaided Stream) The structure of the     course (No. Seats 12 only)
           These shall be two Semesters (Semester I and Semester II). Each Semester shall be of 6 months duration.
Semester I
        Core Papers:
Paper I : Methods of Educational Research and Statistics
Paper II : Advanced Educational Psychology
        Elective Papers:
1) Techniques of Evaluation and Test Construction
2) Educational Technology
3) Teacher Education
4) Educational and Vocational Guidance and Counseling
In Semester I the two Core papers (Paper I and Paper II) are compulsory for all candidates. Each candidate shall select any two Electives from among the four electives given.
 
Semester II
        Core Papers:
Paper III : Philosophical and Sociological Foundations of Education
        Elective Papers:
1) Science Education
2) Mathematics Education
3) Advanced Methodology of Teaching Malayalam
4) Advanced Methodology of Teaching English
5) Advanced Methodology of Teaching Hindi
6) Advanced Methodology of Teaching Social Studies
7) Early Childhood Education
In Semester II Core Paper (Paper III) is compulsory for all candidates. Each candidate shall select any one elective from among the given seven electives.
